Frequently asked
What is SplitStream?
A lightweight Formula 1 app for tracking schedules, standings, results, and race statistics. Live session countdowns, championship standings, lap records and team-themed widgets, always current so you rarely need to open the app.
Which platforms is it on?
Android first, on Google Play. An iOS version built from the same shared core is on the way.
Does it cost anything? Any ads or tracking?
No. SplitStream is free, with no ads, no accounts, and no tracking. See the privacy policy for the full picture.
How do I add a widget?
Long-press an empty spot on your Android home screen, tap Widgets, find SplitStream, then drag the widget you want into place. Some widgets open a short setup screen for theme and options.
A widget isn't updating — what should I check?
Widgets refresh on a schedule (as often as every 30 seconds during a live session, less often otherwise) and need a network connection. Make sure the app has run at least once and that battery optimization isn't fully restricting it. Still stuck? Email us the device model and widget type.
Where does the F1 data come from?
Schedule, standings and results come from the Jolpica / Ergast-compatible API, with session times verified against the official Formula 1 public event tracker. SplitStream is not affiliated with Formula 1, FOM, or the FIA.
How do I report a bug or request a feature?
Email app@technowolf.in with what you saw and, for bugs, your device model and Android version. It helps a lot.
